I am so pleased. She is also getting into taking care of her hair.

(Mom, i thought you would really enjoy seeing her hair... as i always wanted to chop mine. I am So Glad she wants to keep in long, for now.)

Olivia get's a Suica Card!

We have been meaning to get Olivia a Suica Train card for Over a year now.

It's just, we HAVE to bring her passport to get her a card with her Name engraved on it, and to get the Auto Child Fare.

Anyways, this weekend we made it to the JR line, and remembered her passport and ... she Finally got it! No more Train tickets! :):) She was beyond Excited.

We, in the last few weeks have received a few boxes from family and friends.
You all have no idea what it does for the kids,... and their frame of mind.
We are truly thankful!!!!!
Unfortunately i did not have the camera ready, or a hand available for use when opening the other boxes ... but here are the 2 pictures i did happen to catch.

Olivia Turns 8!!

This is SO late, but ... better late than never, right?
Olivia Turned 8 on Nov 30th.... this is the slideshow of her party/day. ;)

!~Girl Scouts~!

Yesterday was Olivia's 1st Girl Scout meeting. :-) She was so very excited to join a group JUST for Girls. :-) She Insisted to wear her full uniform yesterday (minus the shirt, as its just way to big)... We had no problem letting her. She did not wear her Vest or anything to school. Those things were stashed in her GS Backpack. So, she looked Adorable in her brown skort, knee socks and white shirt.
The other little girl who also wore her full uniform for the 1st day went home VERY sick from school :( (I hope she feels better soon!)... Olivia did not feel out of place thankfully, although she was the only one in uniform bottoms.

1st meeting, Her leader is AMAZING and really has her 'stuff' together. I am soooooo happy she is Olivia's Leader this year. (The co-leader is awesome too!!!)
I am looking forward to an awesome year for Olivia!!!
I also registered as a Adult Member, so i hope to be involved in events and so on.

Yukuta Fun

On Saturday the kids and i decided to try on their Yukuta's.
I bought them, um... in the spring, and i wanted to make sure they still fit.
The both have Costume Parade's @ school coming up, and i thought its a perfect time to wear them. (It has to me "book" related.)
Anyways, the kids just took over, and told me what pictures they wanted.
So, i think because it was all their idea, the pic's turned out SO good! :)

I am not a pro @ these yukuta's... so i am not sure if i put them on "correctly"... but they looked cute anyways! :)

Olivia and Evan @ the New Sanno

So, for some reason, i did not take many pictures of the New Sanno. :(
I thought i would but i was tired and in a hurry most of the time.
Here are a new from the outside, the day we left.
We were waiting for our bus.
Evan is blocking his face with his new airplane he got. :)

I wish i would have got more pictures. :(
We did have a lot of fun, for that one night.
I did go ahead and reserve us in a King Room for 4 night in January. (Kind of like a Honeymoon/Birthday (s)/Baby-moon.... LOL).
We will see!

Olivia...

So, a few weeks ago i bought a few of these comics @ the mag. stand.
I thought Olivia MIGHT enjoy them.
Was i ever wrong, She LOVES them!!!
So, ... everywhere we go, ... she has one.
And, i love that i don't have to ask her to read ... because she does so on her own! :)
And, now with these books, she is doing it more often.
FYI, i looked through them (mom/meemaw) and they are rated "E" for everyone, ... and i saw nothing inappropriate in them. :)

Summer '09

I tried to pick photo's that would help you see how much the kids have grown this summer.
It's hard to explain / show when you guys (family & friends) are 1/2 way around the world.
But...
Here is Olivia at the end of school (1st grade) / beginning of summer.

These pic's [below] were taken last week.
Olivia now in a size 8~10 top and 10's for bottoms!
Almost a size 3 for shoes.


Evan at end of summer wearing a 4T


Evan now wearing a size 5/6 or 6 boy sizes! No more "T or toddler sizes".

As someone pointed out, at least they grew like weeds in the summer when shorts and dresses were the main clothing. If they grew this way in the winter, we would be going through pants like Crazy! haha

Fun Photo's with the Kids

Seaside Paradise Aquarium~Yokohama Japan

Ethan went with Olivia's Class on a Field Trip to Seaside Paradise the last week in March.
He was "In charge" of a few kids, so ... he did not get many photos.
Also, he was not allowed to use flash, so ... again, not many pictures turned out.

Here is what he got.
Also, it was about 27$ for adults and 10$ for Olivia... and that includes... not much.
Ethan said there was Extra stuff everywhere, ... things you need $$ for.
So, if you plan on a trip... plan on Extra Yen, and he says it wont be a Cheap Trip.
