- Hey, My name is Alisa and i started this blog back in 2007 when my 2 kids and i moved to Yokosuka Japan. It's been 6 years and Ive let the blog posting go. Now i have 3 kids and Im currently going through a divorce living back in the United States now for 6 months. Feel free to look through the post from 2007~2010 for GREAT information in regards to moving to Japan. It was an amazing adventure, and i cant wait to someday revisit. In the meantime, i am creating a new life and attempting to revisit old passions, like Photography and Cooking. So, here it goes....

Hi, I'm enjoying your blog! We're a Navy homeschooling family considering orders to Yokosuka next year. I was just wondering if you have any info on homeschooling groups in the area and also if you know how hard it will be to find housing if we take our medium sized dog.
